This session will explore the role of technology in tackling big social and environmental challenges. You will hear case studies on how technology is delivering a positive impact across two key areas – homelessness and fuel poverty. Speakers will share real-world examples of tech innovation and demonstrate the results that are being achieved for both residents and housing professionals. Examples will include a Warm Rents initiative, powered by sensor technology, which is improving health outcomes, enhancing housing quality and promoting energy efficiency for hundreds of UK homes.

For the second year running, data and IT management came out top of Inside Housing’s Risk Register for housing associations. As the housing sector adapts to major regulatory changes to improve service delivery and keep tenants safe, this session will look at how to use data and technology to drive efficiency in your operations.
